BRANDON R. IVERSON, DDS

Meet Dr. Iverson

Dr. Brandon Iverson was raised in Tremonton, Utah. He is grateful for the valuable lessons he learned growing up on his father's farm and appreciates his hard-working roots. After High school he spent two years on a full-time church mission in southern Texas. He attended Utah State University on an academic scholarship and was accepted to dental school at The University of Michigan. While studying there, Dr. Iverson made the decision to pursue a career in the military and was accepted into the Air Force health professions scholarship program. Dr. Iverson graduated dental school in 2001 and followed his father's path of active duty military service. He quickly realized the respect he had for our country and those who serve in our military. He did not realize the full professional value of his military commitment until he started active duty and began his fellowship in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, TX. While completing this advanced training program, Dr. Iverson had the exceptional clinical opportunity to train directly under an array of dental specialists on a daily basis, including periodontists, endodontists, prosthodontists, and oral surgeons. This intense interaction helped him discover his enjoyment for oral surgery. Dr. Iverson attributes his career path to this amazing Air Force experience.

Dr. Iverson completed his active-duty Air Force time as a general dentist at Kirtland Air Force base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was accepted to an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, where he engaged in extensive surgery training from 2004 to 2008. During this time he rotated through General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Trauma, Internal Medicine, and Anesthesia services. He received top-notch training in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He was intensely involved in corrective jaw surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, office-based anesthesia, and facial trauma treatment in a very busy hospital-based program. At Temple, he was privileged to receive a phenomenal education in dento-alveolar surgery, which included advanced bone-harvesting and grafting techniques as well as training in dental implant placement. Dr. Iverson has a true passion for complex oral/dental rehabilitation, and utilizes the latest, most advanced technologies for treatment planning. He is committed to broadening his education in an effort to provide superior specialized service to his patients here in central Pennsylvania.

Dr. Iverson and his lovely wife moved to Lancaster in 2008 to join Conestoga. They are both in a state of continual controlled chaos, raising their six wonderful daughters (Yes, 6!!!). The family is very active in their church, school, and many community organizations. They truly love the central Pennsylvania area and are grateful to be associated with a dynamic practice like Conestoga Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
