Dr. Waugh is past Chairman, Department of Dentistry at Lancaster General Hospital and has served as Chief, Division of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at Lancaster General Hospital. He is past President of the Central PA Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society and is an active member of the Lancaster Rotary Club.

Dr. Waugh enjoys outdoor activities including skiing, scubadiving, biking and gardening. In addition to his other activities Dr. Waugh is an American Red Cross CPR instructor.
