Meet Dr. Matonak

Dr. Joshua A. Matonak was born and raised north of Pittsburgh in Butler, Pa. In 2006, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. After completing his undergraduate education, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pittsburgh in 2011. It was during his dental school education that he discovered his love for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and then went on to complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at West Virginia University. He has had extensive training in removal of impacted teeth, dental implant surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, facial trauma, oral and maxillofacial pathology, reconstructive surgery, corrective jaw surgery, and the safe delivery of general anesthesia. 

Dr. Matonak is a Board Certified Surgeon and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Conestoga Oral Surgery is truly leading the way in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dr. Matonak is thrilled to provide treatment utilizing the most cutting edge technology. He is committed to continually learning the latest in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to provide quality treatment for his patients. Prior to joining Conestoga Oral Surgery, Dr. Matonak practiced for two years in DuBois, Pa.

In his free time, Dr. Matonak enjoys spending as much time as possible with his beautiful wife and three children. He strives every day to be the best husband and father that he can be. He loves playing and watching all sports and especially racquetball and soccer. Dr. Matonak is excited to practice Oral Surgery in the Lancaster area. He and his family have enjoyed living and learning in Central PA.
